| Commentary | In Posada Pass the new National Route (finished 1892) is crossed at right angle by the old route, coming from Scărişoara (from west). The old road is very well preserved for 190 m, being 8.5 m wide, descending a relatively steep slope. Its continuation is following a long street of the village, down to the Dâmboviţa River ford. Very likely the old bridge (giving the name of the village) is NOT the known stone bridge of our days, being located about 65 m downstream. | |
